Day by day

1. Non-stop

   Ushuaia, Argentina

   You crew will be ready for you in the southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia. Board your ice-class expedition yacht and meet your polar team. The captain and crew will most certainly start with a slightly extended safety briefing and expedition orientation. Whilst you get settled in the captain will take the helm for departure through the Beagle Channel, which will open up into the Drake Passage.

2. Non-stop

   Drake Passage Crossing

   Crossing the Drake is part of the ritual. Albatross and petrels follow in your wake. Lectures from marine biologists and expedition leaders prepare you for landfall. The yacht's stabilised design ensures as much comfort as possible while anticipation builds. A note, the Drake Passage can be influenced by quite a lot of swell but all precautions will be taken.

3. Day 3

   South Shetland Islands

   First sight of Antarctica. The South Shetland Islands rise from the mist, dramatic and volcanic. Land at King George Island among gentoo penguins and research stations. Anchor inside the flooded volcanic caldera of Deception Island, one of Antarctica's safest natural harbours. Walk along black volcanic beaches framed by steam vents and snow.

4. 10 Hours

   Antarctic Sound

   Start the day on high adrenaline with a cold plunge. Navigate toward the Antarctic Sound where tabular icebergs drift like floating continents. Leopard seals patrol the ice edges. This is the gateway to the true peninsula.

5. 18 Hours

   Gerlache Strait

   Cruise the iceberg-laden Gerlache Strait. Humpback whales breach unexpectedly beside the yacht. Make sure to jump on one of the tenders to race between the sculpted ice formations. If the weather allows, we can launch the helicopter to get a birds-eye view of this phenomenal landscape, an experience only very few will ever do.

6. 5 Hours

   Lemaire Channel

   Cruise through the narrow Lemaire Channel, also dubbed the most beautiful passage in Antarctica. Sheer cliffs plunge directly into mirror-still water. Kayak, during sunset, along the ice edge for complete immersion in polar silence. A spectacular immersive 7-course dining experience awaits for you.

7. Day 7

   Port Lockroy & Historic Landings

   Step ashore at a historic British research station Port Lockroy. Meet some of the locals (penguins) and explore the history of Antarctic explorers and their feats. If your yacht is equipped with a submarine we can explore the underwater ice formations and hidden marine life.

8. Day 8

   Deep Peninsula Exploration

   Cruise further south along the Antarctic Peninsula. Land on rarely visited shorelines that may have not been touched for months, guided by your polar expedition leader. Expect a more intense wildlife-filled scenery. Find seals relaxing on drifting ice and if you are lucky you'll see whales surface. For the car fanatics whose wish it always was to drive a monster truck, today is your lucky day. We can arrange explorations by 4x4 on the mainland.

9. Day 9

   Heli-Ski First Descents

   Another bucket list item today! Heli-skiing. If the weather permits we can take the helicopter all the way up to the Antarctic peaks. There is nothing that beats this. Experienced mountain guides lead first descents on slopes never previously skied. Make sure to bring a first-person camera or we have one of the crew join as a videographer, because you for sure want to re-live this experience. Return to the yacht for spa recovery and fireside dining.

10. Non-stop

    Weddell Sea Edge

    Venture toward the remote reaches of the Weddell Sea. Ice becomes denser, more imposing. Emperor penguins may be spotted depending on ice conditions. This is raw polar exploration at its most dramatic.

11. Non-stop

    Whale Tracking & Marine Research

    Participate in live whale tracking with onboard researchers. The expedition may deploy monitoring equipment or collaborate with marine conservation teams. Tender excursions will be arranged so you can see humpbacks feeding in nutrient-rich waters.

12. Non-stop

    Return Toward South Shetlands

    Begin the gradual journey north. Conditions permitting, final landings or helicopter overflights provide one last perspective of the White Continent. Evening celebration dinner onboard beneath endless polar twilight.

    Drake Passage & Return to Ushuaia

    Cross the Drake Passage once more before re-entering the Beagle Channel and arriving in Ushuaia. Disembark knowing you have experienced Antarctica in its most exclusive and immersive form.
