What the days look like

We have received a review from one of the dogs we had onboard.

“One day I was chasing a ball in a park. The next, I am stepping onto what appears to be a floating palace. There are people here whose entire job seems to revolve around making sure I am comfortable. I have decided I like them. There is water everywhere. Not the small bowl kind. The endless kind. At first, I was suspicious. Now, I sit at the edge of the deck like a captain, watching it move. I believe I am in charge.

They have given me my own spots around the yacht. Soft. Shaded. Always near my humans. Every time I move, someone notices. A fresh bowl appears. A towel appears.

Then we arrive somewhere. The smaller boat takes us to land. Not just any land. The best land. Lots of other dogs. Just sand, space, and the kind of freedom that makes you run for no reason at all. I ran. A lot. Back on the yacht, I nap. A deep, proper nap. The kind where you wake up not knowing what day it is. I am told this is called “luxury”.

There are rules, apparently. Something about where I can go in certain countries. My captain seems to know everything, so I do not worry. I also overheard something about a “security deposit”. I assume this is because I am extremely valuable.

The best part is this. No one is asking me to stay behind. No one is saying “dogs not allowed”. No one is leaving me at home. Instead, this entire floating world has adjusted itself to include me. I am fed. I am walked. I am admired.

And I have come to a very clear conclusion. This is not their yacht charter.
