01What is APA?
APA, or the Advanced Provisioning Allowance, is the fund that keeps your charter running effortlessly behind the scenes. It covers variable expenses such as fuel, food, berths, and guest requests, allowing the crew to prepare everything in advance. Managed transparently by the captain, it's spent only as needed — and any unused balance is returned at the end of your charter.
02How much VAT do I need to pay?
VAT depends on where your charter takes place and how it's structured. In France it's typically 20%, Italy 22%, Spain 21%, and Croatia 13%. Other destinations follow different rules depending on cruising area and usage. We'll always advise you clearly before booking, so there are no surprises.
03What time of year can I charter a yacht?
Yachting has no fixed season and can be enjoyed at any time of year. The world's cruising grounds shift with the weather, offering ideal conditions somewhere, always. From summer in the Mediterranean to winter in the Caribbean and beyond, there's always a perfect place to be on the water.
